Bethel Halifax Is Reopening!!!

*Note Weekly Scheduled Ministry Team – You do not need to pre-register, you will be contacted by Pastor Tanis with a Ministry Team Ticket.

*Pre-Service Prayer in the gymnasium 10am-10:30am with Keith Miners – Must use the separate basement backdoor entrance and exit and seats 6’ apart.

Please carefully review the following information – there is a lot to take in!!!

Our Government Regulations are changing weekly, and as of today we are allowed to have a maximum of 50 people in our building, so if you do not pre-register you may not be granted entry this week.

We are working on having Facebook Live but it may not be up this week, however, the messages will be recorded like before and posted on our website at

Pre-Screening *See End of Message

You are being provided with an at-home pre-screen health questionnaire, if you answer yes to any of the questions you must stay home.

Arrival & Departure:

You will be greeted by an usher who will spray your hands with hand sanitizer and then will be asked a few quick questions before being escorted to your seat.

BEFORE SERVICE *Please arrive early, with your required ticket

It will take time to pre-screen and usher everyone to their reserved seat.

If you forget to pre-register, we will do a final headcount and see if there are any spaces available.

AFTER SERVICE *At the end of the service please wait for your section to be dismissed so we can stagger people coming and going.

*Please wear your own face-mask for arrival and departure, this is because we cannot ensure 100% social distance in this smaller hallway area.

If you do not have a mask one will be provided to you.

We encourage you to keep your mask on at all times, however once you have been seated you are not required to keep your mask on.

You are expected to remain in your seat at all times, with the exception of using washroom facilities, (one person at a time)

No visiting in the hallways.

Please follow the arrows on the floor for help and flow of traffic.

Coffee Service:

Our Kitchen and Coffee Area is closed until further notice.

You may bring your own beverages, please no food.

You must take all personal belongings including garbage, cups, tissues, water bottles out with you, do not dispose of at the church. No lost and found at this time.

Kids under 11, Toddlers & Babies:

There will be no kids ministry at this time.

There is no nursery facility/room.

Higher Risk Adults:

Please use your discretion before coming to Church if you have a pre-existing health condition or are considered high risk by your physician.

*Adults and Children of all ages are all required by the current Nova Scotia Government Health Authorities to stay in their seats for the entire service (except for washroom usage).

This is not our desire but while we are still required to social distance and remain seated, we are recommending that high-risk adults, infants, toddlers and children stay home and participate via Facebook Live.

*Parents/Guardians, please be advised if you chose to come and your child(ren) are not able to stay seated, you will be asked to leave, there are no exceptions at this time as this is mandated by our Gov’t Health Authorities to limit and stop the spread of Covid-19.

We expect the restrictions to continue to ease as the weeks go on.

For updated information please refer to the Nova Scotia websites:

Cleaning & Safety Protocols:

We are following the recommended guidelines, bathrooms only need to be cleaned and sanitized every four hours during an event or service, because our service is under 4 hours, be assured our building will be cleaned before and after each service, event, meeting, or practise.

At this time we will be using our Gymnasium for Pre-Service Prayer only and the Sanctuary for Sunday Service and the washrooms.
